Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo completed their three-month Shenzhou-12 mission and returned to Earth safely at the Dongfeng landing site in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on September 17, concluding a historic journey in China's Tiangong space station.
