The 2021 Warren Alpert Foundation Prize has been awarded to two scientists, Lynne Maquat and Joan Steitz, who will attend the 4th World Laureates Forum in October this year, for their seminal discoveries in the biology and function of RNA. Their findings reshaped the understanding of RNA's role in healthy cell function and disease-causing dysfunction.
